WP01 Wool Felt Hat ~ Knitting Pattern

Beautiful crisp and ready for winter this white hat is sure to keep you warm and looking stylish all season.
Sizes:
Small (child) & Large (adult).
The small size is designed for a child's head size of up to 20½" (52 cm).

The large size will fit adult head sizes from 21" to 24".

Amount of felting and how the finished hat is blocked will determine the exact size of your hat.

Yarn Requirements:
Approximately 200 (230) yards of bulky (14 ply) wool that will felt easily to a firm fabric.

Caution: Many white and natural colored wools do not felt well, if at all. It is very important to test felt a sample to be sure that your yarn felts well and that you are happy with the resulting fabric.

Needles:
A 24" (circular needle and a set of double pointed needles both in US size 11 (8mm).

Gauge: Before felting, about 12 sts = 4" (10 cm).
