 DK weight baby set knit in Diamond and Broken Rib patterns. Instructions included for blanket, sweater, bonnet and booties.

Sweater, hat & booties to fit 3 to 6 months; blanket 30” x 32”.

Yarn Requirements: DK weight yarn

Sweater – approx. 380 yards

Bonnet – approx. 85 yards 

Booties – approx. 75 yards 

Blanket – approx. 1200 yards

US size 5 (3.75 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.

A 16” (40 cm) circular or a set of double pointed are needed to pick up sleeve sts and work the first few rows. The rest of the sweater, booties and bonnet can be knit on a 24” circular or straight needles. For blanket, a 29” circular is recommended to handle the number of stitches with ease.

Other Supplies: 

5 - ⁵/8” buttons; 1 yard ¼” ribbon. 

Gauge: 22 sts and 32 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Broken Rib.
