111LC Reversibly Cabled Afghan
111LC Reversibly Cabled Afghan
Knit this thick, warm afghan on large needles in Lily's signature reversible cables. When it's not wrapped snugly around you, leave it tossed over the back of a chair or couch without ever worrying that the so-called wrong side is exposed. There is no wrong side!
Use any part of the panel patterns for smaller projects like a stole or a scarf or even a serape!
Size: 48" wide x 58" long, when lightly blocked.
Yarn Requirements:
Approximately 2300 yards of a heavy worsted weight yarn.
A wool or other natural fiber is recommended to allow for proper blocking.
Shown in 10 ply (worsted weight) New Zealand wool.
Needles: 29" or 31"t (80 cm) circular knitting needles in sizes
9 (5.5 mm) and 11(8 mm) or size to obtain gauge.
Note: Afghan is worked back and forth in rows. Use of circular needle is to accommodate large number of stitches.
Notions: Stitch markers and cable needle.
