Fiber Trends Pattern FT203
These bunnies are quick and easy to knit and fun to felt.
Size: 7" to 12" (18 to 30 cm) tall depending on yarn choice and the amount of felting.
Yarn Requirements:
Choose a worsted or bulky weight yarn that will felt easily and firmly or combine 2 different DK or worsted weight yarns. A wool and a mohair make a good combination.
Approximately 200 to 250 yds (183 to 229 meters) for a solid color bunny.
Fronts of ears and bottoms of feet require about 30 yds (27m) of a contrast color, if desired.
Needles:
US size 10.5 (6.5 mm) for worsted weight yarn.
US size 11 (8mm) for bulky weight or if using 2 strands of DK or worsted together.
Suggested Yarns: 10ply Natural Wool, Tussock or Alpine. For a "fuzzy bunny" add a strand of Mohair Plus with the wool and use the larger needle.
